Cooling Down [In the City]

My independent art project for the first semester.
My plan for this piece was to encompass a few themes of music. The guy with the black hair is a stereotypically-dressed emo kid, representing bands like 'the smiths' and 'refused' [which is actually where I got the inspiration for this guy from]. The long-haired, leather-clothed guitarist represents metal. This was all inspired by music I was listening to when I drew this: 'new noise' by refused, 'hourglass' by trophy eyes, 'phantom of the opera' by iron maiden, 'the brightest bulb has burned out/ screws fall out' by less than jake, 'oh yeah' by the subways, 'gimme gimme shock treatment' by the ramones, 'out the window' by bowling for soup, 'raining blood' by slayer, 'i write sins not tragedies' by panic! at the disco, 'feel so numb' by rob zombie.
Most of this is metal and punk, hence the piece itself.
